CEO/Managing Director Of Westview Travels And Tours Ltd, Joy Alexander-Oziegbe is a trained travel consultant with over 19 years’ experience in the travels and tourism industry.
She holds a degree in Microbiology from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. She has several local and international certifications in the Travel Industry.

Her journey in the tourism industry began in 2005 during her National Youth Service Corps program in the Ministry of Tourism, Potiskum in Yobe State, Nigeria. She worked as the Operations Manager at Arrival Travels before setting up Westview Travels and Tours Ltd. Ever since, Joy has packaged International Trade Delegation trips/tours for professionals: such as the CEBIT Trade Show in Frankfurt, Germany; Nigerian-German Business Delegation to Frankfurt, Germany; Europe African Business Summit in Hamburg, Germany; Best of Nigeria Expo in London, the United Kingdom; City Scape in the United States of America; African Gala Nite & 5th African Icon International Awards Chicago; Rio Carnival in Rio, Brazil; Canton Fair in China; World Travel Market in Capetown, South Africa; Business Trade Show in Tunisia and ISM in Cologne, Germany; Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, UAE; World Travel Market in London, United Kingdom to mention a few.
She has also packaged local and international holiday/tourism trips for groups and individuals to notable tourist destinations like Lagos State including Badagry, Abuja, Benin City, Asaba, IITA in Ibadan, Ikogosi, Abeokuta, Accra, Cotonou, Nairobi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, Rome, Paris, Nice, Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives, Tunis, Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Pamukkale, Johannesburg, Durban, Cape town, Frankfurt, Hamburg, New York, New Jersey, Disney World Orlando, Houston, Toronto, Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Toronto, Ontario, Regina and many others. Her company Westview Travels is big on selling the ‘Destination Nigeria’ and welcome guests regularly from different parts of the world. In the past few years, they had inbound Tourists from the UK, the United States of America, Brazil, Ireland and the UAE.
Joy was featured by The Guardian Woman in June 2018. She also won the Emerging Hospitality Icon Award by the Women of Courage Africa Summit and Awards Lagos organized by the Style born Magazine in 2019. She has also been featured in several Radio and TV Shows including the Metrowoman Show aired on DSTV and several local terrestrial stations.
Joy was inducted into the Tourism 100 Club in 2024. She received an award from ATQ at the 8th Accra Weizo Conference in 2025 as one of the Best Tour Operators in West Africa for Seamless Travel and just last she received the award for Top 100 Tour Operator in Africa by ATQ at the 22nd Akwaaba African Travel Market that held in Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos Nigeria.
Joy is currently the Secretary-General of the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP). She had previously served as the Deputy General Secretary and Lagos State Co-ordinator of the Association.
