Olumayowa Obasanya, Junior Partner at Diamonds and Pearls Travels Limited has been named as one of the Africa Travel 100 under 40 award winners by the organisers of Akwaaba Travel Market, West Africa’s largest travel expo and Atqnews.com.
She joined Diamonds and Pearls Travels Limited as a travel professional in 2012, just at the earlier stage of our business. She’s a graduate of History and International Relations from Lagos State University Lagos. She has been involved in all of our major projects in Diamonds and Pearls Travels ranging from destination events to group trips.
Olumayowa was the General Manager before becoming a Junior Partner in the year 2022.
She is passionate about travel, and she has been able to plan and execute many trips, group, corporate and Solo trips for guests.

BRIEF HISTORY
Diamonds and Pearls Travels Limited started operations in October 2010 as Diamonds and Pearls Concepts by a couple, David and Wonuola Olatunde-Lamidi in their living room. The company started by offering visa processing assistance to both business and leisure clients who have found it hard to obtain visas to Europe or America on their own. As we begin to see considerable levels of success in these areas due to our unique approach to visa processing, we began to sell major business seminars and conferences around the world to clients who are looking for such opportunities for their businesses and may not be able to handle such rigorous visa processes.
PRODUCT AND SERVICES
Our business now provides services such as flight ticket booking, hotel reservations, tour packages, visa processing assistance, airport transfers, destination events, company retreats and cruises. We offer these services to individuals, couples, families, groups, and corporate bodies. We design our products to give a great experience to our customers as we focus on customer experience while curating our trips. We take customer experience so seriously that we pay attention to the type of hotel, airline, tours, and ground handlers we use in all our trips. The providers of these services must be able to offer a minimum of 4-star service quality to our clientele to work with us.
