Global Air Cargo Market

Africa’s air cargo industry is on a rapid upward trajectory, with transport demand expected to grow by 50%, spurred by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which connects 1.3 billion people.

According to cnbcafrica.com, recent data from 2024 reveals a 6% increase in cargo traffic, with Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport alone processing 112,000 tons in Q1 — a clear signal of the sector’s rising momentum.
