British Airways, one of the world’s most recognised aviation brand, Kenya Tourism Board and Tour Brokers International have rewarded participants at the 12th Akwaaba Travel and Tourism Conference with various prizes for participating at the annual event.
The event which had 15 participating countries with over 2,000 visitors in attendance came to a close with eight people from different travel organisations winning various categories of prizes.
In celebrating its 80 years of operation in the aviation industry, British Airways gave out a free Business Class (Club World Class) return ticket from Nigeria to London to the winner, Favor Fadahunsi , MD/CEO of Tri-Global travels. Elated by the prize, Fadahunsi said he was fortunate for being the one to have won the prize among so many participants that attended the event and thanked the organisers of Akwaaba for introducing the travel and tourism conference to this year’s event.
Also, Kenya Tourism Board in its bid to woo more tourists from Nigeria and other West African Countries to explore the country’s abundant tourism potentials gave out three holiday prizes to three lucky winners from different travel companies at the event.
The winners Adeyemi Adesuwa of St. Kingscrown Travels & Tours Ltd won a holiday package for 2 nights for two people at Great Rift Valley Lodge in Nairobi and Collins Udolu of Jedidah Promotions, Ghana, won a package for 3 nights for two people in Nairobi, while Ayodele Folakemi of Newrate Travels and Tours Ltd won 3 Nights for two at Voyager Beach Resort Mombasa.
Furthermore, Tour Brokers International, an organisation that specializes in packaging tours to exciting destinations handed out three packages to winners to experience one of the new Dubai parks and resort
The winners, Foluke Abodunrin of Folabod Travels & Tours, Musa Adelaja of Musampa Travels & Tours Limited and Modupe Albert of Aviation Logistics were presented with a ticket to visit one of the new Dubai parks and resort on a Royal Caribbean Cruise by Tour Brokers International.
One of the winners, Modupe Albert said it would be lovey to go on a cruise noting that it would be an experience to cherish for a long while.
