A Makadara woman has been accused of raping a 14-year-old boy after forcing him to watch porn.
Sharon Kitangi, 26, is said to have committed the offence on January 30. She also faces another charge of touching the Class Seven boy’s private parts without his consent.
The court heard that the boy’s mother had sent him to withdraw money from a nearby M-Pesa shop when Sharon lured him to her house. It is alleged that the boy promised to pass by after running the errand.
Later, the boy went to the accused’s house who reportedly locked the door from the inside when the boy entered the house.
It is alleged that Sharon sat close to the boy as they watched porn. Sharon, the court heard, removed all her clothes before forcefully undressing the minor, ignoring his protests.
“She also asked me to caress her breasts,” the boy told the court, adding that Sharon paid him Sh200 “for assisting her.”
The boy’s mother reported the matter at a nearby police station before the boy was taken for checkup.
Sharon denied the charge in court saying, “I didn’t forcefully rape him. Both the boy and I were examined and there is no proof of the allegations.”
She was released on a Sh200,000 bond. Hearing continues on August 17, 2016.
