Nigeria is a new market and we hope that we are going to break even and make the Nigerian travelling publics have a wonderful time and experience while traveling with us,” said Mrs. Bonsu.
She said that the airline has been in operation for over one year and its major focus is on the West Africa sub-region with some flight operating into Europe.
According to Mrs. Bonsu, “We have been operating for over a year now and one of the key things that keeps our customers loyal and makes us to win new customers is the reliability factor, price is important but we found out that a lot of time for business traffic, reliability is key and that is something that we know that we do a lot better during any competition, apart from that we are price in such a way that we give a lot of value for money and with that we are not looking at charging huge amount for airfares. Our fares are known to be very competitive, we may not be the cheapest carrier but we are definitely not the most expensive carrier and with that people who fly us keep coming back.
“It is reliability, it is convenience, it is consistency, we don’t want a situation that today, you fly us it was fantastic and next week you fly us, it is not so good, we pride ourselves on the consistency of our service delivery and that is one of the things that we do better than our competitors. As far as getting first time travellers to try us because obviously Nigeria is a new market the public does not know Gambia Bird so we urge them to try our service and they will never regret it.”
