News: Ghana ministry of Aviation aims to make Accra the Africa Hub as Air France consolidates

The Deputy Minister for Aviation in Ghana, Honorable Kwabena Darko Mensah has emphasized the Government’s commitment to do everything in its power to make Ghana the leading Aviation Hub on the African Continent.
Speaking to the Media, the Honorable Deputy Minister said he is confident very soon the Government will achieve its vision to become the top most Aviation hub in Africa.
He confidently stated, the Ministry believes the country’s reputation as having world class standards will help put the Country as the leading Aviation hub very soon.
Currently the Aviation Ministry is expecting more airlines in the industry, a move geared towards achieving the feat as the number one Hub on the continent.
The Member of Parliament for Takoradi in the Western Region continued, the ministry is assured to ensure the safety for customers that travel by air in the country.
He also strongly believe the Aviation Ministry is on course to achieve its goal as currently, Air France is pulling all resources together to make Ghana the hub of their airline. “France wants to run seven days in a week”, he recalled. He added, Emirates and other airlines are talking to the ministry to improve air services.
