Kenya’s Ann Cheptumo and the Chief Executive Officer of Acheche Tours and Events Management, has won the coveted Africa Travel 100 Award which recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.
She is a lover of tourism, an ardent traveller and an ambassador of the African tourism industry.
Ann is also a member of the Kenya Association of Women in Tourism, She sits on the executive committee. Based on this passion, she started her tours and travel company in the year 2008 in Mombasa and Malindi & later expanded to Entebbe Uganda.
She advocates for Africa Travel. Having offices in both Kenya & Uganda has made her an expert in regional travel.
In her free time if not travelling you will find her mentoring young entrepreneurs in the Tourism industry. She shows them the ropes of how to do it & be an excellent tour operator.
As a certified tour operator, her company deals with Airline ticketing, Hotel & Holiday villas accommodation booking, safaris all over Africa, airport transfers, Cruise ships Getaways honeymoon vacations, event planning and destination weddings.
Ann believes in doing more for our planet. She advocates & practices sustainable Tourism.
