Brazzaville has become the center of regional tourism activity as the first-ever Nabemba Tourism Expo (NTE) opened in the Congolese capital on Tuesday, bringing together industry professionals, government representatives, and private-sector operators from across Central Africa.
The three-day event, running from November 18 to 20, 2025, marks a major step toward strengthening tourism collaboration and showcasing the region’s growing potential in sustainable travel and wildlife experiences.

According to the organisers, the inaugural edition kicked off with an official tour of exhibition booths, led by senior government officials and event partners.
Organized by Wild Safari Tours, in partnership with the Tourism Industry Promotion Office OPIT in short, this three-day meeting positions itself as a major space for discovery, exchange of ideas and sharing experiences around tourism development in the subregion.

A Strategic Pole For Tourism Development In Central Africa.
According to the Managing Director of Wild Safari Tours and the national coordinator of the event, “Nabemba Tourism Expo is registering as a must-have appointment”.
For the latter, the objective is clear: “to contribute to the promotion, structuring and radiation of the tourism sector in Central Africa, a sector that still needs to exploit its full potential despite the richness of the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the area.” “

Representing her colleague in charge of tourism, the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Madame Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, has officially opened the panels, after launching the tour of the stands.
Visibly satisfied, she hailed the unpublished character of this first edition, which she calls a “total success”.
The Ministry of SMEs wanted to warmly congratulate the organizers, especially Mr. Francel Emerancy BALANK, recognized for his dynamism and determination in promoting the tourism sector. For the Boss of SMEs, Member of the Government,

“Tourism is a capital sector for the development and development of a country, especially the Congo.”
It should be noted that the event also recorded the noticeable presence of several diplomatic personalities. Among them, the Ambassador of Cameroon, the Ambassador of Venezuela, as well as the Representative of the United Nations, alongside other members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Congo. It must be said that, the participation of the latter demonstrates the growing interest in Congolese tourism expertise and the regional dynamics that Nabemba Tourism Expo brings, which in this first edition became a real crossroads of influence and international cooperation in the sector.
At this scientific tourism fair, several actors from the continent gathered around the vision of tourism in the image of Wild Safari Tours, many other agencies, offices and tourism operators from different African countries responded to this great meeting, located between exhibitions, exchange sessions, presentations of innovative initiatives and business meetings.
