Africa: Nigeria Association of Tour Operators Visits Ogun State to Strengthen Local Tourism Development

As part of efforts to promote tourism destinations in Ogun State, the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), led by the National President Mrs. Bolaji Mustapha paid a courtesy visit to Ogun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

During the two-day familiarization (fam) trip to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the team were warmly received by the Honourable Commissioner and the Director for Culture and Tourism at the Ogun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

According to a statement by the association, the meeting provided an opportunity for mutual exchange on tourism development, investment opportunities, and strategies for sustainable destination marketing in the state.

The fam trip is part of NATOP’s ongoing initiative to spotlight local destinations with rich cultural and historical value, while building partnerships with key stakeholders across the tourism value chain.
