Aviation: RwandAir, SAA celebrates Nigeria Independence with Fare slash

Rwanda national carrier, RwandAir has slashed its fare to Dubai and Johannesburg for its teeming customers in Nigeria as a way marking the country’s 56th independence celebration.
The new air fare to Dubai and Johannesburg according to the airline is from $600 and $490 respectively inclusive of taxes.

The reduction in air fare which commenced from the 1st of October will end on the 7th of October, 2016.

In a related development, South African Airways joins the celebration by introducing a promotional fare of USD 256 exit Abuja and Lagos.

The airline said this is to show “our appreciation of patronage to all our esteemed customers for their unrivalled support to the airline.”

The airline stated that the promotion is expected to end on the 31st of October and valid for travel before 30th November 2016. Adding that all travel must be completed by 30th November.

According to Atqnews.com, RwandAir recently acquired its first airbus aircraft to boost its capacity to expand.

RwandAir’s country manager, Ibiyemi Odusi, said the Airbus A330 will be deployed on the Nigerian-Dubai route next month after which it will service the Lagos-Mumbai route in December.
