South African Tourism recently hosted graduates of the SA specialist Course on an amazing 8days Tour of South-Africa.
The tour which included visits to Tourist attractions in Joburg and Cape Town is to enable the delegates from both Nigeria and Ghana better sell South-Africa as a Top Tourist Destination.According to SAT’ data, both Countries have shown a continuous growth over time of total outbound of approximately 8% and 7% year-on year growth from 2009-2014 respectively. In West-Africa, Nigeria contributes about three quarter of tourist arrivals and revenue into south-Africa while Ghana contributes about a quarter.The tour included visits to Lions Park, Elephant Sanctuary at Hartebeesport Dam, Lesedi Cultural Village,
Apartheid Museum, Gold Reef City, Table Mountain and Robben Island. As well as a city Tour of Johannesburg and Soweto, Ride to Winelands in Sidecarts and a quad bike riding tour of Rbebokskloof Wine Estate.
As always, South-Africa lived up to their promise to always indulge visitors as the delegates were given a 5star treatment from the seamless check-ins and airport transfers to the luxury Hotel accommodation at the Maslow in Joburg and the Table Bay Hotel in Capetown both by Sun International.
